Two-time Super Bowl Champion and NFL Animal Welfare Leader, Logan Ryan, and his wife Ashley Support the Nashville Humane Association with Donation

NASHVILLE, TN – (May 6, 2020) – Logan and Ashley Ryan, founders of The Ryan Animal Rescue Foundation (RARF), are donating $26,000 to the Nashville Humane Association (NHA).

The animal welfare non-profit was founded in 2017 in Nashville, which has been home to the Ryan Family for the past three years. Since its inception, the foundation has spent countless hours volunteering and contributing over $250,000 to the animal rescue community.

Over the past year, Logan, Ashley, and RARF have hosted a fundraising gala, Pup Rally animal adoption event, pet vaccine clinic, educational workshops, and provided grants to local shelters. They have also stepped up to provide emergency relief resources to the animal community in the aftermath of the Nashville tornadoes and COVID-19.

“The Nashville community welcomed our family and foundation and helped it grow since arriving in 2017,” says two-time Super Bowl Champion Logan Ryan. “The support from all of the local organizations, businesses, volunteers, and fans has truly been amazing and you are all family to us. Our time in Tennessee may be over, but I hope that our message and work in the animal community lives on.”

The Ryan Animal Rescue Foundation has partnered with many local agencies and shelters throughout the greater Nashville area. The relationship between the Ryan's and the leaders, staff, dogs, and cats at Nashville Humane Association has been especially impactful.

“Nashville Humane has been one of the best partners we could have asked for. They welcomed our family with open arms and have embraced the mission of our foundation every step of the way.” RARF Founder Ashley Ryan said. "NHA always puts the animals and their community first and we hope this donation can help them continue to go above and beyond.”

The $26,000 donation will be made in honor of Logan’s jersey #26 that he wore proudly on the field.
